What are your hours of operation and are you open on holidays?

Margate on Essex Avenue: Monday-Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Open every day and all holidays, including Christmas. Only location open on Christmas Day. 

Margate on Jefferson Avenue: Monday-Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to -2 p.m. — Open every day and all major holidays; only closed on Christmas Day. 

Northfield: Monday-Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday, 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Closed Christmas Day. All other major holidays open from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Atlantic City: 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Open every day and all major holidays. Only closed on Christmas Day. 

Somers Point: Monday-Sunday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Closed on Christmas Day. All major holidays close at 2 p.m.

Do you have seating available?

Hot Bagels and More is primarily a take-out facility. Some locations offer limited outdoor seating on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you offer delivery or pickup?

Yes! We offer online ordering with pickup and catering services. You can place orders through our website or download the Hot Bagels and More app (available for Apple and Android).

Can I use gift cards or coupons online or in-store?

You can use gift cards and gift certificates in stores only; they are not available for online use.

About Our Bagels

How fresh are your bagels and how should I store them at home?

Our bagels are baked fresh every morning, using high-quality ingredients and traditional methods. We never sell day-old bagels.

At home, keep bagels in a paper bag inside a plastic bag at room temperature if you plan to eat them within a day or two. For longer storage, slice and freeze them in an airtight bag. Just pop them straight from the freezer into the toaster or oven for that fresh-baked taste anytime.

Do you sell day-old bagels?

No, we don’t sell day-old bagels. Any leftover bagels are either made into fresh bagel chips or donated to local shelters and community organizations.

Do you make bagel chips?

Yes! We make bagel chips daily using our fresh bagels.

Can I freeze bagels for later use?

Yes! Our bagels freeze beautifully. For best results, slice them first, place them in a freezer-safe bag, and squeeze out as much air as possible. This way, you can pop them straight into the toaster or oven when you’re ready to enjoy them. They’ll stay fresh for up to 2 to 3 months.

What’s the best way to reheat a bagel?

To bring back that fresh-baked taste, we recommend toasting your bagel. If it’s frozen, you can put it directly into the toaster or oven until warm and crisp. We don’t suggest microwaving, since it can make bagels tough or chewy.

Ordering and Special Requests

Can I place large orders?

Absolutely! We recommend calling ahead for large orders, especially during holidays and busy periods like Yom Kippur to ensure availability.

Do you offer mini bagels?

Yes, mini bagels are available with a minimum order of 3 dozen per flavor and require 3 days’ advance notice.

Can I order bialys?

Bialys are available with 24 hours’ advance notice.

Do you have holiday or specialty bagels?

We offer seasonal bagels for Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, and Hanukkah. Large orders for specialty bagels require 3 days’ advance notice.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk ordering options?

Yes, we do. Please complete the wholesale form, and a representative will contact you within four business days.

Dietary Requirements and Allergens

Are your bagels kosher?

While some of our ingredients may be kosher-friendly, Hot Bagels and More is not certified kosher and our facility is not under kosher supervision. We cannot guarantee adherence to kosher dietary laws.

Do you accommodate food allergies?

Please be aware that our facility is not nut-free, peanut-free, or dairy-free. There is a risk of cross-contamination with dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, oils, and other common allergens. If you have severe allergies, please consult with our staff before ordering.

Do you offer gluten-free options?

Yes! We offer plain and everything gluten-free bagels (not made in-house). We can prepare chicken salad, tuna salad, whitefish salad, and egg salad sandwiches on gluten-free bagels, available both as sandwiches or in to-go containers.

What vegan options do you have?

We offer plain vegan cream cheese for our vegan customers.

How can I place an order?

You can order in several ways:

Do you ship bagels?

No, we don’t ship bagels as they’re best enjoyed fresh. All orders are available for pickup or local delivery only.

Can I modify or cancel my order after I place it?

For same-day bagel or breakfast orders, please call us as soon as possible—we’ll always try to help. Once we’ve started preparing your food, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

For catering orders, modifications, or cancellations, please make them at least 48 hours in advance. After that point, changes can’t be accommodated, as we’ve already started preparing and securing fresh ingredients specifically for your event.

When placing your order, please double-check that you are ordering from the correct Hot Bagels & More location, so we can ensure your order is ready where you expect to pick it up.

What is your cancellation or no-pickup policy?

Our catering orders are prepared with the same care and quality that go into our stores each morning. From freshly baked bagels to special touches like seasonal fruit for parfaits, we make sure every detail is ready for your event. To avoid waste and cover the cost of fresh ingredients brought in just for you, we kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or modifications.

Orders canceled with insufficient notice or not picked up are typically non-refundable. For smaller, same-day orders, once they’re placed, they are considered final.

To avoid any confusion, please confirm that your order is scheduled at the correct location when placing your order.

Do you require upfront payment for catering orders?

Yes, all catering orders must be paid in full at the time of order. This enables us to source fresh ingredients, prepare everything with care, and ensure that your event runs smoothly. At Hot Bagels & More, we take pride in providing the same freshly baked quality your guests will love, just like our community enjoys every morning.
